Child Care Policy Updates
Health and Safety:
If a child has symptoms, they will not be able to come into the room. If symptoms occur during their stay, a parent will be notified to come get the child. You’re welcome to bring them to the Sanctuary, or watch service from the Dufrense Room, depending on the severity of said symptoms. We thank you for using wisdom to discern these decisions. Drop Off:
When children arrive, they are to be signed in at the gate, and receive an ID number. Parents will receive a sticker with the child’s assigned number, and one will be placed on the child’s back. In the event you are needed, your number will be displayed on the overhead screens in the Sanctuary. After receiving a number, Parents are to leave children at the gate to walk in, or a server will take/hold them from the parent. For the safety and protection of all our kids, under no circumstances will individuals other than approved Nursery workers be allowed into the Nursery.
Nursery Only
Behavior:
In the event of a child needing behavioral correction during their stay in the room they will receive 1 time out, in addition to an explanation as to what is expected of them while in the room. If they continue to need further correction the Parent/Guardian will be notified to come and get the child. Please feel free to bring them to the Sanctuary or Dufrense Room for the remainder of service. They are welcome to come back the next week for a fresh start.
Baby Room Only
Personal Items:
For insurance and safety purposes, bottles or food will not be permitted into Baby Room. Binkies, if needed, are allowed.
